Since 1979, we have grown from a small, independent carrier specialising in overnight deliveries to London, mainly delivering textiles, into a Nationwide haulage company, ready to transport anything ranging from White Goods, parcels, textiles and pallets anywhere in the UK at a competitive price.

We deliver Nationwide throughout England, Scotland and Wales offering both Next Day and Economy 2-day services. Counties such as Yorkshire, Lancashire, Tyne & Wear, Cheshire, Stafford, Leicestershire, Humberside and the Midlands are all delivered on a next day service as standard. All of our vehicles are fitted with satellite navigation and a mobile phone, ensuring that customer satisfaction and fast responses are achieved at all times.

All of the goods that we collect including pallets and parcels, come back to our depot in Halifax, West Yorkshire or to our depot in Hemel Hempstead to be consolidated into trips. We are not part of any hub systems or pallet networks ensuring that when we collect your pallets and parcels, up until when we deliver, your pallets and parcels are in safe and reliable hands. We have found over the 40 years that we have been established that this delivery method keeps us fully in control and maintains our high standard of delivery standards of an “extremely quick service” and “perfectly delivered pallets and parcels”.

PALLET SIZES & DIMENSIONS

We understand that sometimes knowing what pallet size to use to send your goods out can be a little confusing, so we have created a easy-to-follow guide and some frequently asked questions below detailing the different pallet size options to assist. 

Within the UK there are usually two types of pallet sizes used, standard pallets and euro pallets.  The standard dimensions of a UK Standard Pallet are 120 (cm) x 100 (cm) x 180 (cm) and a Euro Pallet is 120 (cm) x 80 (cm) x 180 (cm).

Within these standard pallet and euro pallet dimensions, you can often book as full, half or quarter pallets depending on your requirements. The type of pallet is determined by the weight and it's height as detailed above.

Not only do we deliver standard sized pallets, we also can handle your oversized pallets and because we aren't part of a pallet network our pricing structure and restrictions can be tailored to suit your needs.

How do I send a pallet or parcel?

Firstly, you will require a quote on your pallet or parcel. To do this, either fill out our Request a Quote form found at the top of this page, make sure you fill out all of the information and we will get back to you with a price as soon as possible. What are the dimension and weight limits?

For full standard pallets, the load must not be bigger than the base of the pallet, it must weigh under 1000kg and it must not sit higher than 200cm. For half pallets, the load must weigh under 500kg and sit lower than 100cm and for quarter pallets, the load must weigh no more than 250kg and must sit lower than 60cm. Visit our pallet guideline page for more information. Don’t forget that with us not being in a network we can handle oversized pallets and you won’t be charged double rate. We are flexible with our pallets spaces and pricing.

What if I’m sending multiple items?

If you’re sending multiple items on one pallet, each item needs to be wrapped and packaged securely to protect it, but at the same time, each individually packaged item needs to fit onto the pallet with no overhang and needs to be packaged securely onto the pallet, this is so there is enough space for other pallets next to yours.

Can I send a piece of machinery?

If you need to send a piece of machinery, providing a pallet can accommodate one, you will need to ensure that the engine is fully drained of all oil and any other liquids, as well as a hole is to be left in the pallet wrap so the dipstick can be accessed easily. If oil leaks from your pallet onto any other, you will be liable for any damage caused.
